Tony is a former senior police officer with over 25 years experience of investigating crime and James formerly worked in the Social Work/Family Support sector. This gives TBL a unique blend of in-depth knowledge and practical experience in the fields of Criminal and Family Law. We refer to our Firm as a Legal Advice Centre and we are based in Kilmarnock Town Centre, near to Kilmarnock Sheriff Court. We fully understand that involvement with the law or the courts can be stressful and sometimes traumatic. Due to recent changes in the law, we are required to provide you with up-front details of costs for legal advice but we can also grant legal aid, if necessary. The Law Society has issued guidance on what is called 'Transparent Pricing' which is information that must be made available to clients about fees, outlays and costs incurred if you to choose to instruct us as your Solicitor.  Please see relevant sections on this site on our services for more details regarding costs. We will also explore the possibility of granting legal aid.
